Class Presentation
When we need information, we usually do not care who provides it. When we call a call center or a help desk, it does not matter who we talk to, where they live, or what interests them. All we want is information.
When scientists need information, however, they have to find it themselves. They must work together in collaborative investigations, communicating and sharing plans and data. They have to know and trust each other. Inaccurate data from a single scientist can undermine the work of the entire group.
GlobalLab students will conduct collaborative investigations, which is why you will begin by introducing your class, school, and town to other GL students. This is the first step toward building a community of discoverers.
When you learn about other GL classes, it becomes easier and more fun to work with them.
